Are we normalizing checking people before even talking properly?

It feels like online interactions are shifting fast people don’t always wait to build a conversation anymore before trying to understand who someone is in real life. The Tea Checker comes up in these discussions as part of the trend where users try to look into a person’s online presence early on. While it may come from a safety mindset, I keep wondering if this habit is changing basic social behavior, where curiosity is being replaced by early judgment before any real connection even forms.
